Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favorite films ever. I’m not sure if I like it more for the story or just to swoon over Audrey Hepburn’s wardrobe, effortless grace, and the scenes of New York City. I’ve seen the film at least 20 times and have memorized every nuance of every scene.
Inspired by the character Holly Golightly, this photo shoot explores Holly’s personality and what you might see her doing when she thought no one was looking. I injected as many Easter egg references as I could that only a true BaT aficionado could appreciate. Post-production, I collaborated with illustrator Caitlin Shearer to create a multimedia final result. Caitlin printed the photographs in black and white and hand-painted the images with watercolor.
